There's Something In the Air

This is the shortest song I've ever written. I actually wrote it on the way to one of my classes while attending Minot State University. Again, very simple but sometimes in our lives we need to remember the simple....remember the basics. Like tonight at softball. We were trying too hard to make plays and things weren't going good. Then we settled down and just did the simple stuff and things came together and we won. So...moral of the story.....practice more!!! Na....keep it simple.

I wrote this song a few years ago and the song lasts about as long as it takes to read it. It's simple....but honest. There is nothing more powerful than the love we give to others, because He gave us that love first, and He will always love us....

Face to Face

Today I got my first sunburn of the year....funny....it's not as exciting as it sounds. Here's a sample of my latest song...more to come later.

Serve the rhythm of the Lord...

A couple Sundays ago I was running sound for the youth band that was leading worship for 3 services throughout the day and at the end of the service the worship director said to everyone, "Serve the risen Lord", but to me it sounded like "serve the rhythm of the Lord" and I thought that was pretty cool. It didn't sound too weird because coming from the mouth of Craig it made sense...he is a musician through and through and he would be the kinda guy to say something like that. I think it's pretty cool and I'm going to keep using it. Maybe you too will find a use for it someday. God's blessings. peace.
